September's End

The season is coming to an end and we may be seeing the end of another era in which core members and fan favorites alike may be playing their final games for Seattle. Managerial and coaching changes may also be coming.
Yes, 'Time is coming.
Speaking of which, there wasn't any time to ask questions and wait for responses, so this month I'll just throw some questions out and discuss the responses as they come in. The locals will have gotten them a few hours in advance.
1. Do you have any hope left at all for this season. Keep in mind they still play the Rangers & Astros, and a generally weak schedule around those series.
2. What are the needs for 2027 as you see them now. I'll ask this question again periodically throughout the offseason.
3. Do you think internal options can address any of the upcoming needs, and if so, who?
4. Which controllable players on the major-league roster do you think should be available in trade talks this offseason?
5. Would support the trade of any significant prospects, and if so, which ones?
6. Which teams do you expect to see in the World Series?
7. What was likely Seattle's biggest mistake before the deadline?
8. What was likely Seattle's biggest mistake before rosters expanded?
9. What internal changes would you like to see now?
10. What non-player personnel changes would you like to see for 2027?
